Tarea para 20/12

Write two sentences about things that have happened to you (or make it up) with technology. Each sentence must include both a preterite and imperfect verb. Use imperfect to describe what was going on when something specific happened (preterite). Join the two clauses in the sentence with y, cuando, mientras, etc.

Examples:
Mi madre hablaba por teléfono cuando sonó mi móbil.
Mientras yo hacía mi tarea en la computatora, no pude quardar mi archivo de Word.

The verbs are underlined. Remember pude? It is poder in the irregular.

Preterite Review Guides

There is a great summary of the preterite tense here. Also, you always have my guide. Keep reviewing.

December 6, 2011

Tarea para 7/12

Do one of these two DO activities and print it out, or do the one on page two of the DO packet from yesterday, as I said in class. This HW is optional and considered a makeup if you have missed one previously.
Your "mandatory" homework is to read carefully and think about the object pronoun grammar summaries that I gave you at the end of class. We'll have a "quiz" on object pronouns tomorrow.

December 5, 2011

Tarea para 6/12

Complete the last two pages of the direct object packet that I gave you today. You could print out the online version as well if you like, and then complete and bring it in tomorrow. Remember to ask yourself, are we talking about "to/for whom" or "who/what" is receiving the action? The former is the le/les and the latter is the lo/la/los/las.

December 2, 2011

Performance Assessment Due Monday

Write a lengthy paragraph, 1/2 to 1 page, which describes what happened in the role plays yesterday. You must use traer, pedir and servir (in the preterite, of course) at least 2 times each. Each time you use traer or servir you must use an indirect object pronoun, such as le, les, me or nos. Be prepared to turn it in at the beginning of class. Your writing will be scored with this rubric.
